SWARMFALL

SWARMFALL is a solo journaling horde survivor. Each wave you draw one more card from a regular deck of playing cards than the wave before, and every card is a threat closing in on your survivor. What you do about it is yours to write, wave by wave, in the Wave Log — so a finished run is part game, part diary of one character's stand.

Between waves you draw a card to grow your build: more strength, more speed, more health, or a reroll in your pocket. If you know the escalating-wave, pick-an-upgrade-and-keep-going pull of Vampire Survivors, Brotato or 20 Minutes Till Dawn, that's the shape of it — except on paper, at your own pace, and the run only ends when the waves finally catch up with you.

What you need: a standard 52-card deck, one six-sided die, a pencil, and about 30–60 minutes per run. The deck resets clean every time — send out as many survivors as you like.
